Weight Limit
Junior barrow show weight limit will go up to 300 pounds for the 2012 Illinois State Fair.

All breeds will need to vote for the 2013 Illinois State Fair judges.

Votes should be turned in by the end of the state fair.

Online Breed Sale
We will be posting champion and reserve champion boars and gilts of each breed on the Showpig.com Online sale site on Monday, August 15 and Tuesday, August 16 until 7 a.m. CDT. Bidding will be available online the night before until one hour before the live sale.

All champions and reserve champions, senior champions and reserve senior champions, and junior champions and reserve junior champions will be nominated for the online sale. Breeders MUST have pictures taken after the conclusion of each show (at the breeders expense $5 photo fee to Steve Mappes). Breeders must also provide descriptions and information on all swine in the online sale.

The Breed Association will pay the entry fee for the online sale. If the entry sells, the breeder must pay the commission fee.

All breeding stock nominated for the sale have to sell otherwise there will be a penalty.
Rules:
1) If a pig is injured and cannot sell you have tell the breed President he will view it
2) If the pig doesn't show up for the sale the will be a penalty example what ever the boars our gilts average he will pay the commision fee of what the breed averaged otherwise he will not be allowed to sell in next years sale.

If breeders wish to add additional entries into the LIVE auction, they will be required to pay a $20 entry fee to the Illinois State Breeders Association. Breeders may not consign additional entries to the online portion of the sale.
